How It Works

Tetchy Tech pays premium prices for used smartphones, smartwatches, media players, and similar devices. After we make an offer on a device and receive it at our facility, we inspect, restore, certify, and provision them to meet our buyer or recycler requirements. The Tetchy Tech platform is fast, intuitive, and easy to use.

We offer two ways to participate on our website. At the start of the process you can choose between 'Get Paid' or 'Give Back. If you choose 'Get Paid' you will be able to choose between receiving a check in the mail, a check sent to your email, or a paypal payment to your account. If you choose to 'Give Back' you will be able to choose from a select list of organizations that we have partnered with. The entire value of your device will be given to the organization of your choice. But don’t worry, if you don’t see an organization that you are passionate about, or you decide your favorite organization is yourself, you can always choose the 'Pay Me' option for your device instead at the final checkout page.

As part of our socially responsible recycling efforts, Tetchy Tech has decided to pledge 5% of all money paid out directly to consumers so our community benefits from your transaction no matter which option you choose. Our collective efforts and enthusiasm about changing the way we retire our old technology will have a profound impact on the world, but it will only happen if you help in our cause.
